Walking Tour - Nature Trail at the Montana Heritage Center In-Person
Join Montana Historical Society tour guides for a sneak peak tour of the new nature trail and the Montana Heritage Center. With native plants and interpretive signage highlighting the natural history of Montana, participants will travel from the prairies to the peaks without ever leaving the Capitol Complex. Participants will learn about plants, geology and natural history of our state and learn about the exciting exhibits slated to open with the Heritage Center in November 2025.
The one hour talk will follow a paved, wheelchair accessible trail and is friendly for participants of all ages.
This tour is being offered as part of the Community of Outdoor Resource Educators summer walk series. Prior registration is required via the CORE summer walk series website: Event - From the Prairies to the Mountains: A Sneak Peak of the Nature Trail at the Montana Heritage Center - August 21, 2025 in Helena, MT. Registration opens on August 5 and is limited to 20 participants.
