Anglers Undaunted: Fishing with Lewis and Clark - Lecture by Austin Haney In-Person
The Lewis and Clark expedition required many different resources to complete their long journey. Feeding the crew was just one of the challenges that had to be overcome, and Montana's waterways provided a great opportunity for obtaining food. Join historian Austin Haney to explore the story of fishing on the expedition, as well as that of Indigenous Peoples met along the way, in a prop-heavy presentation demonstrating how anglers of the past caught their dinner.
